    Our Story

    Founded in 2009, Gamber Family Dental was built on a simple idea — to make exceptional dental care comfortable, personal, and accessible for every patient. What started as a single office in Kettering has grown into two welcoming locations serving families across the Dayton area.

      Dr. Alex Gamber graduated from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2008. Prior to studying at OSU, he attended the University of Dayton, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Dentistry. Since he began practicing dentistry, Dr. Gamber has continued to learn a variety of new techniques and procedures to be at the forefront of dentistry: He became certified in the placement of dental implants, and has placed over 250 implants in the last 6 years. Dr. Gamber is fully trained to administer BOTOX® to treat TMJ pain, migraines, and achieve cosmetic aesthetic. Most recently, he has introduced 3D-CT scans to the practice to provide the best and most reliable dental diagnostics available and the Solea hard tissue laser which allows fillings to be done without anesthetic!

      These are huge steps toward being able to offer the best dental treatment in-house.

      Dr. Gamber has been married to his wonderful wife, Mary, for 25 years. He enjoys being able to help her out when she is working as the president of their 501c3 non-profit Gamber Family Foundation. Together they have three children: Tyler, 27 and Xander, 22 both currently working in the Dayton area and Phoebe, 20 who is currently a senior attending Eastern Kentucky University studying Philosophy and Anthropology.

      Dr. Gamber has many hobbies, but is passionate about his involvement with Caring Partners International, which allows him to travel to Guatemala on medical missions trips. He has been fortunate to share these experiences with his wife and daughter when they travel with him. Until the next trip, however, you can find Dr. Gamber training for his next Tough Mudder mud run! HOO-RAH!!
